Grant me your love
To pray for those who do evil to me

Lord,
Grant me the joy
To spread your Good News those who need it

Lord,
Grant me the peace
To seek your face and will everyday

Lord,
Grant me the patience
To not retaliate when provoked

Lord,
Grant me the kindness
To do good to those who scoff at me

Lord,
Grant me the goodness
To bless those who curse me

Lord,
Grant me the faithfulness
To stay close to you in times of temptation

Lord,
Grant me the gentleness
To be more of a girl

Lord,
Grant me the self-control
To not let anger consume me
